Guardian: "If he quit we will [all] quit"

It's not often that we report on possible lineup changes, but for such a big team, arguably the best team in CounterStrike: Source, it certainly seems fitting.

Battle Of The Ages: Part III

Michael 'Rickeh' McGhee continues his stroll down memory lane with the Battle of the Ages part 3.

After writing an article on the Battle of the games last month we bandied about some ideas on what else we could do with the series, in a meeting with myself, Dr. Gonzo and DuRuS we decided to could have a regular feature using the same idea, only it would be the Battle of the ages. Time and again people ask the question "Who would win?" as they compare teams from different eras. Not only in CS:S, or in eSports for that matter but in almost every single sport the idea of pitting two greats who never got the chance to play at the same time against each other is talked and fantasized about constantly.

You can find the first two parts in the series Here and Here.

So far in the series I've used two successful American teams and pit them against their European counterparts, this article will be no different as I set up a match between LA Complexity - perhaps the most dominant American team around when they made the switch from 1.6 to CS:S - and Verygames, another team who dominated everything they entered in Europe and had it not been for their failure to attend the major international events, they would no doubt have been crowned our #1 team of 2009, an award they were beaten to by Reason Gaming.
