 | Following the hugely successful LA event which was won by TLR, the next edition of LANChamp has been announced.
This time the LANChamp will be heading to the East Coast, Baltimore, Maryland to be exact as they host the third event of the year on the 24th of July, once again with a $10,000 prize purse. The last event saw underdogs TLR overcome hot favourites Dynamic in the final to take home first place and finally quash any rumours surrounding the teams legitimacy, but the event itself wasn't short of drama. The fact no SourceTV was available caused uproar among fans who had no way to follow the action other than the LAN stream, they have promised that things will be different in Baltimore and we can spectate all the action from start to finish.
In another scandal at the event Team Dynamic player PEX was called out for cheating, after having his PC and peripherals checked he was found to be "clean" but the speculation hasn't stopped, with a number of apparent bust movies popping up over the past few weeks he is in need of a drama free and good LAN if he wishes to be in the clear. To do that of course Dynamic will have to make it through the difficult online qualification stage - something they almost failed to do last time round. It seems with the LANChamp events growing in stature a lot of the old guard are returning for a piece of the pie, making every match a possible classic for the spectating fans.
