It's not often that we report on possible lineup changes, but for such a big team, arguably the best team in CounterStrike: Source, it certainly seems fitting.
I am of course talking about Reason Gaming, and the expected departure of .PhP at the end of the summer. But we have since learnt that this might not be the case, and it is not confirmed. One of the star players in Reason, as well as one of the best players in the entire scene, .PhP had previously said that he was going to stop playing competitive CS:S at the end of the summer.
But now he has thrown that all back up in the air. In a recent poll here on Cadred.org, he said the following:
We'll see what happens after summer holidays, it's too far away to predict, but likely I will have to [leave]
Though this still looks like he is going to be hanging out his boots, it is certainly not as done a deal as well thought it was.
The future of Reason Gaming CS:S team has also had some new light shed on it. There was a lot of speculation as to who would replace .PhP if he did leave, but we have now learnt that if he does leave, everyone in the team will leave.
GuardiaN also said the following in the recent poll here on Cadred.org:
Well... if he quit we will quit all... because he cant be replaced :) he's the one and only in czech and slovak republic :)
The future of the Reason Gaming CS:S team is unknown at the moment, but one thing is for sure they will be sorely missed if .PhP does leave and Reason do call it a day.
